Sequoyah National Opens Doors

The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians cut the ribbon on the tribe's first 18-hole golf course today and introduced Sequoyah National Golf Course to the State of North Carolina. On hand at the event was North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue, Principal Chief Michel Hicks, Vice-Chief Larry Blythe, 4-time PGA Tour winner Notah Begay III, and golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr.
